My SWEET Dance Baby Dance tiara... well it was based on the Labyrinth Ball scene, but I can't stop singing that song
Why, yes I was channeling the ballroom scene in Labyrinth when I made this tiara. How did you guess. And as I look at it's picture I can hear the dance baby dance song in my head right now. And it is AWESOME!
I just love how this distressed antique gold color is turning out. I loved it so much that I had to make a tiara out of it fit for a lovely elegant mermaid.
This is my new favorite hair comb. I love, love, love how the distressed copper color turned out. It's a Victorian inspired comb fashioned out of ornate clock hands. With a large Swarovski Crystals gracing the center. Perfect for that elegant tea party or that Fall wedding.
Ooooo look what I made! A tiara PERFECT for the Halloween wedding. I love how this little clock hand hair ornament turned out.
I've been working on this little beauty today. I achieved just the right amount of spiky and spooky for this sweet little tiara. So much so that I might have to make one for myself. A sassy punk rock tiara for that lovely little steampunk tea party or ball.
I hope 2016 is amazing and filled with joy for all! Oh, and full of tiaras too of course, and moments that are tiara worthy as well.
I finally have a little time to work on some peacock feather hair clips and fascinators. I just love the antique brass filigree peices with the feathers. They remind me of Thailand for some reason.
"Twinings on The Strand, London. On this very spot in 1706 Thomas Twining opened the first tea room in London. The shop has been here ever since - which makes it the oldest shop in the City of Westminster. The distinctive Twinings’ logo, created in 1787, is the oldest commercial logo in continuous use."
The weather is FINALLY starting to cool down here in California. I actually found myself wanting a cup of hot tea this morning. I dearly love tea, but this weather just makes it unbearable sometimes. So because I was finally getting down my tea collection from the cupboard to place on the counter for easy access during the winter I had to look up all kinds of pictures on pinterest that involved tea. This is just such an idyllic garden tea party spot. Oh I do wish I could just project myself into the picture. One scone with clotted cream and jam for me please!
I ask you... Could there be a more perfect tea accessory in the whole wide world? I think not!
