I hope 2016 is amazing and filled with joy for all! Oh, and full of tiaras too of course, and moments that are tiara worthy as well.
My new favorite tiara I just finished called Byzantine Delight for all my Steampunk tea drinking ladies out there!!!
I just LOVE how the finish came out on this tiara! The copper bronze color is just so warm. I call it Byzantine delight my new favorite Tiara that I just finished.
I've been watching the movie Labyrinth quite a bit. So I'm sort of on a dark Fairy kick lately. This tiara was absolutely influenced by that. I dearly love how the crystal in the middle swing freely as you prance about the room.
I've been working on this tiara for awhile now, and I just LOVE the way it turned out. It remind me of little little spiky flames shooting from your enlightened head. But, in a very elegant and sophisticated fashion of course.
Soooo ... I was looking at images of Byzantine art, and mermaids when I came up with the idea for this tiara. I know the two ideas don't seem to go together. And every time I say that to someone they question me a lot. Realize my image searches are CRAZY. And when I start a google search for art you never know where I will end up. I should probably just say steampunk mermaid to make it easier on everyone. But you have to admit Byzantine and mermaid together does make a pretty tiara.
Summer always makes me think of traveling 1920's carnivals, gypsy caravans, and running away with the circus. Giving me the most unbelievable urge to work with peacock feathers (don't worry it makes sense in my brain). So with images of bohemian tribal steampunk dancers I made this filigree hair clip.
Just playing around with a few new necklace ideas tonight while watching Lake Mungo. I did notice I was looking over my shoulder a little bit at random house noises so the movie might be getting to me just a bit. But I love this movie so much I can't stop watching. I hope my boyfriend comes home soon. EEeeeEEEKkkk!!!
I've been working on a few necklaces today. It has such a yummy vampire Edwardian feel to it, I just love
Finishing up this sweet little hair comb on this beautiful afternoon.
I had a date with this little lovely this evening. I've been working on this tiara for at least a year now to get just the right design. I think its finally finished.
