I wanted this hair stick to have the feel of a edgy hair bow, but with a serious noir steampunk flair. Just the perfect thing to wear to that midnight tea party!
I hope 2016 is amazing and filled with joy for all! Oh, and full of tiaras too of course, and moments that are tiara worthy as well.
This little distressed Antique gold color Tiara was so much fun to make. It is just perfect for that elegant steampunk Neo Victorian bride or Labyrinth or Edwardian Ball. Or could you just imaging what fun it would be to add a little spice to your tea time. A tiara that will leave your followers stunned into submission, and clamoring to carry out your regal orders.
My new favorite tiara I just finished called Byzantine Delight for all my Steampunk tea drinking ladies out there!!!
I just LOVE how the finish came out on this tiara! The copper bronze color is just so warm. I call it Byzantine delight my new favorite Tiara that I just finished.
I was so pleased with how this tiara came out that I had to glorify it with an over use of graphics! Yep, this is exactly what happens when I'm bored and start playing with my editing programs. But that's ok because the tiara is still adorable, and is totally worth the grandiose praise.
I finally have a little time to finish up my Halloween decorating, and work on a few orders. I'm watching the origins of Halloween on the History channel, and nothing gets me more into the festive spirit than that. So here is my new favorite tiara with my favorite owl all dressed up for HALLOWEEN!!!!
I've been watching the movie Labyrinth quite a bit. So I'm sort of on a dark Fairy kick lately. This tiara was absolutely influenced by that. I dearly love how the crystal in the middle swing freely as you prance about the room.
I've been working on this tiara for awhile now, and I just LOVE the way it turned out. It remind me of little little spiky flames shooting from your enlightened head. But, in a very elegant and sophisticated fashion of course.
Just a little gold colored tiara to brighten my day. I think I will call it the Mermaid Tiara because it reminds me of something a mermaid would make out of a Spanish ship wreckage with golden coins.
Soooo ... I was looking at images of Byzantine art, and mermaids when I came up with the idea for this tiara. I know the two ideas don't seem to go together. And every time I say that to someone they question me a lot. Realize my image searches are CRAZY. And when I start a google search for art you never know where I will end up. I should probably just say steampunk mermaid to make it easier on everyone. But you have to admit Byzantine and mermaid together does make a pretty tiara.
