This is my new favorite hair comb. I love, love, love how the distressed copper color turned out. It's a Victorian inspired comb fashioned out of ornate clock hands. With a large Swarovski Crystals gracing the center. Perfect for that elegant tea party or that Fall wedding.
Having a lovely day, working on a beautiful little hair comb. Life doesn't get better than this.
I wanted this hair stick to have the feel of a edgy hair bow, but with a serious noir steampunk flair. Just the perfect thing to wear to that midnight tea party!
I'm super excited that I finally made it through summer to another Fall season wooo hooo!!!! And to celebrate I had to make something fitting for the occasions. Behold.... my flying bat hair comb. It's just so cute!
Finishing up this sweet little hair comb on this beautiful afternoon.
Putting the finishing touches on this hair comb while watching The Woman in Black again. But I think I am going to have to make this one into a tiara too.
Working on a few new clock hand hair combs today. While enjoying this weird, crazy California weather while watching The woman in Black 2. I have to say the 1940's atmosphere seems to be fueling my work nicely.
I changed gears a little bit in the last couple of weeks so I could play with some lovely peacock feathers that I have. So of course I had to make up some hair clips and fascinators. I just love the antique brass filigree peices with the feathers, just so decident! And PERFECT for the bohemian steampunk bride!
I finally have a little time to work on some peacock feather hair clips and fascinators. I just love the antique brass filigree peices with the feathers. They remind me of Thailand for some reason.
Today I'm just finishing up one of my new favorite hair combs. I started this one because I wanted a hair comb that would resemble a Steampunk hair bow when worn, but of course made out of clock hands. It looks so cute when placed in a hair do I can barely stand it! And I just love the red with the gold. It is such a stunning hair ornament in person, if I do say so myself.
EJPcreations is a mad scientist of a woman specializing in creating tiaras, necklaces, and fascinators, with a noir, and gothic flair. All adornments have a hint of vampire elegance, a dash of Steampunk bravado, and plenty of Neo-Victorian sensibilities.
