The very lovely Shell Cottage on Freshwater West Beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales in the UK. The cottage was built specifically for Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 2. It is just so lovely!
In the seaside town of Margate, England, there is a subterranean passage adorned with millions of intricately arranged seashells. No one knows the "who" or "why" behind it. I would love to see this in person! https://www.facebook.com/greatbigstory/videos/1535626463406448/?fref=nf
Don't mind me, I'm just planning my retirement cottage in England. I really must stop daydreaming and get back to work, but as you can see in the picture below my hollyhocks need tending.
This is the most comfy dining room I have ever seen. I want to sit in there, and have tea in front of a big roaring fire on a rainy day sooooo bad!!! Thank you Pinterest so much
The amazing Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna, Italy. One of those places I that I have to see in person before I die. Isn't is STUNNING!!! Here are the links to the images... image 1 ... image 2 ... image 3
Well, since I showed the ball gown below I thought I had to show the amazing ballroom as well. I'm pretty sure this was shot at the Palace of Versailles. Can you just imagine all the parties and intrigue this room has seen.
And this goes perfectly with my Steampunk Mermaid theme this week! My boyfriend just bought me two new fancy goldfish, and this would be the most amazing tank to keep them in. Just stunning!
I'm finally feeling summer coming on. And that always means spooky carnival in my mind. I have no idea why. Maybe that's when I first saw the movie "IT" was during summer, so now I just associate summer with spooky carnivals. In any case I will have to do a spooky carnival diarama soon to commemorate that. And here is a picture of a not so spooky, but still pretty spooky carnival to get me in the mood.
Oooooooo doesn't it look all cozy and spooky inside. It's the perfect place to have tea while listening to the wind howl outside.
Isn't this just stunning! It's an Astronomical Clock, Old Town Hall Tower in Prague, Czech Republic. I've always had a fascination with large town clocks. Imagine an age when you didn't know exactly what time it was. When clocks weren't regularly available to common people and all you had to rely on was the sun, and the bells from your church or town square clock. And this one is so complex with it's moon phases. Just lovely!
One of my favorites is the clock face image below. It's from the Tower Clock in Hampton Court Palace, England. I was lucky enough to see it in person, and have never forgotten it.
EJPcreations is a mad scientist of a woman specializing in creating tiaras, necklaces, and fascinators, with a noir, and gothic flair. All adornments have a hint of vampire elegance, a dash of Steampunk bravado, and plenty of Neo-Victorian sensibilities.
