I really need to start working on a feather veil hat for myself. These ladies look so complete with theirs. Thank you so much Vogue for the amazing images over the years!
I'm Seriously obsessed with these Stockings now. Thank you pinterest for showing this to me.
I just found the most amazing post! It's Disney princesses re-imagined as Indian brides. Below is Mulan of course. Simply stunning! The dress is to die for. And look behind her! They even put a little dragon in the shot.
While working through a bought of insomnia I caught the movie 300: Rise of an Empire. I dearly loved the first 300 movie, but for some reason this one slipped by me. I was really surprised to see that my FAVORITE actress Eva Green was in it. And even more excited to see she was playing the role of Artemisia. Queen Artemisia is among one of my favorite people in Greek culture. Of course her role was very, Very... VERY loosely based on her... like really loosely based, but still Eva Green, and Eva Green in super pretty outfits. So that made me happy.
Penny Dreadful is back on Showtime YAYYYYY!!!! I can't wait! It is such a pretty show, and I just fell in love with it last season. Mostly, I can't wait to see what Miss Ives is going to wear. She is simply lovely, and her dresses are to die for!
Such a lovely mourning locket, possibly by Ezra Ames The description states it's "watercolor on ivory, human hair, and gold. Inscribed on monument: 'J.J.L.'; inscribed on the reverse of locket: 'JJL/Jacob Ja Lansing Died 21 June 1794 aged 41 Yrs'. (Albany Institute)"
Sooo I'm thinking she's a alternative future noir steampunk spy, along the lines of Mata Hari. Who transfixes her prey with her impeccably applied makeup. Then finished them with the poison feathers in her magnificent hat. Whatever the story is this image is simply perfection!
Aren't these leggings ADORABLE! They are Macbeth Leggins by Fantasmagoria, and they are absolutely on my wish list.
This hat is to die for!!! I just love how a modified top hat transforms into the ship hull. Simply STUNNING!!! It's by Philip Treacy London.
I am not quite sure there is anything more gorgeous than this hat. I found it on pinterest and it links to blog with no information about it just the picture. If anyone has any information about the designer I would love to know their name so I can see all the other amazing items they have made, and give them credit here. The movement of the flags is AMAZING!
EJPcreations is a mad scientist of a woman specializing in creating tiaras, necklaces, and fascinators, with a noir, and gothic flair. All adornments have a hint of vampire elegance, a dash of Steampunk bravado, and plenty of Neo-Victorian sensibilities.
