Yep! Another Marchesa gown. Melding my deep love of Sari's and 1930/1950 evening gowns. Truly STUNNING!!!
My Eastern European ancestry has been coming out lately during my pinterest searches. And it seems any dress I am completely in love with turns out to be a Marchesa. Isn't to STUNNING!!!
"Russian-style evening dress by "Marchesa", a brand from New York. Spring / summer 2012. The collection was inspired by Ilya Repin's 1876 painting "Sadko in the Underwater Kingdom"
My favorite little Halloween circus clown skull diorama sold the other day. I keep looking at the empty place it left in my studio expecting to see him, but he is gone to his new home. I miss him so much. I loved his little hat, and wire frame background. I know he will have an amazing new life with a family who loves him dearly, but it is so hard to let go. I will have to make something else very soon to fill the void.
And this goes perfectly with my Steampunk Mermaid theme this week! My boyfriend just bought me two new fancy goldfish, and this would be the most amazing tank to keep them in. Just stunning!
One of my AMAZING customers purchased a gold clock hand hair comb to be part of her Steampunk Mermaid costume. What a fun idea for a costume!!! So of course that got me searching on the internet for Steampunk Mermaids, and I found this lovely little soul. Such a beautiful image.
This week as been about remaking this tiara with clear crystals in black, antique silver, and antique gold. For some reason they have been fighting me a lot. I think my clock hands are all feisty because they can feel Halloween in the air.
What else could a bride want than to be encrusted in jewels and elegance form head to foot.
As you can see I'm still not over my henna obsession....
I've been trying to finish up a couple of these little beauties in antique silver, and gold color this week. I have to say the gold is coming out particularly gorgeous.
