The Cultural Gutter is running their annual Gutterthon!!! They have a campaign running on Indiegogo to raise money for their day to day operations, and to pay their writers for their amazing articles. Their site is a wonderful oasis on the internet, and well worth the donation. Once you start reading their content I guarantee you'll be hooked so check them out when you get the chance. Below are just a few thing I have made as perks for donations, but they have lots more.
Isn't she just STUNNING!!!! See I told you I had a weird carnival/circus thing going on in my head. But I can't decide if she would be a trapeze artist, or Queen of the circus. I keep going back and forth between the two.
Awwwww, my little hair stick, "Darkness Consumes them," will be living out the rest of her life in Ohio. I hope she has a wonderful time with her new family. And I hope she gets to go to all kinds of special occasions, and fun events together. I will miss her greatly.
I'm finally feeling summer coming on. And that always means spooky carnival in my mind. I have no idea why. Maybe that's when I first saw the movie "IT" was during summer, so now I just associate summer with spooky carnivals. In any case I will have to do a spooky carnival diarama soon to commemorate that. And here is a picture of a not so spooky, but still pretty spooky carnival to get me in the mood.
I was doing research for a project I'm working on, and came across my favorite picture of Vulnavia from the Dr. Phibes movies. The Dr. Phibes movies have always been a little hard for me to watch just because they were so gory to me as a child, but Vulnavia has always been a special favorite of mine.
EJPcreations is a mad scientist of a woman specializing in creating tiaras, necklaces, and fascinators, with a noir, and gothic flair. All adornments have a hint of vampire elegance, a dash of Steampunk bravado, and plenty of Neo-Victorian sensibilities.
