I will be needing two of these steampunk light with vacuum tubes for my steampunk laboratory room, thank you very much. I would ask for more, but I don't want to be too greedy.
Just another little hair ornament to wear to that perfect winter noir steampunk tea party. I designed it with more of a carnival or night circus theme in mind. Mostly because I am rereading "The Night Circus." And once I start reading that book everything I make just seems to go with that design in mind.
Isn't this just stunning! It's an Astronomical Clock, Old Town Hall Tower in Prague, Czech Republic. I've always had a fascination with large town clocks. Imagine an age when you didn't know exactly what time it was. When clocks weren't regularly available to common people and all you had to rely on was the sun, and the bells from your church or town square clock. And this one is so complex with it's moon phases. Just lovely!
One of my favorites is the clock face image below. It's from the Tower Clock in Hampton Court Palace, England. I was lucky enough to see it in person, and have never forgotten it.
I have seriously fallen in love with these tea cups. So of course I'm day dreaming about the Steampunk Nemo-esk outfit I would wear to a 20,000 leagues under the sea tea party that these would be used at. Aren't they just simply AMAZING!
Well, I am afraid it is that time of year again. Dreaded paperwork time! I dearly love being a business owner. And I love making things for so many people around the world to wear and enjoy. I don't mind paperwork, on the contrary I've worked as a bookkeeper for others for many years, and actually sort of like the tedium of it. I guess it's a contrast to when I lock myself up in my studio to make things. But I LOATH doing MY business paperwork, and will think up any excuse I can to put it off. But the time has come once again where I must lock myself up inside my office and just get it done already. So here is one last tiara picture before I go to remember me by. Wish me luck!
I found the most wonderful blog post about a lovely couple who had a very elegant Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. This picture is the bottom of the brides bouquet, isn't is fun! so unexpected and such a lovely touch.
Isn't this the most beautiful train on a dress. I just love the back of this dress it is so lovely. And a grey wedding dress is my ideal.
EJPcreations is a mad scientist of a woman specializing in creating tiaras, necklaces, and fascinators, with a noir, and gothic flair. All adornments have a hint of vampire elegance, a dash of Steampunk bravado, and plenty of Neo-Victorian sensibilities.
